How Do I Use My Intuition To Make My Affirmations Work Quicker? Learn To Meditate!

First let's define what the intuition is...

It is that inner voice you sometimes hear when you are very still. No, it's not the voice of your mother that you sometimes hear...that is your habitual mind.

If you have never heard this voice don't feel bad, most have not. Some people just feel a 'feeling'. Others will tell what their intuition is saying by noticing what their gut is telling them.

Your intuition, once awaken, will greatly help you achieve what you are affirming. How? You will make much better decisions!

People who are 'in touch' with their intuition tend to waffle less and are able to make very important decisions quickly without falter. Basically, in a nut shell, being indecisive sucks big time because you can't make a decision. If you cannot make a decision affirmations won't do much for you.

Saying affirmations is great but even greater is the new DECISIONS and ACTIONS you will take (or hopefully take if you listen to your inner voice a.k.a. intuition) and then the RESULTS you will experience.

Remember how this affirmation thing works?


Affirmations will start the following chain reaction...

THOUGHTS - this is the affirmation

FEELINGS - you want to get a positive emotion for the chain to continue

DECISIONS - make decisions that will get you closer to what you want

ACTIONS - take the appropriate actions that will manifest your visions

RESULTS -enjoy it you earned it

Getting in touch with your intuition takes a bit of practice but after awhile it will come quite naturally to you.

Meditation also really helps. Meditation is simply a practice of clearing the mind and turning off your mind who likes to chatter about this and that and worry.

Having a regular time of slowing down and trying to think of nothing is very valuable. 15 minutes a day is a great way to start. If you have never done this it may be hard for the first few days.

1. Get comfortable and be still (moving around will distract you)

2. Clear your mind (focusing on a white light, or seeing yourself in a white room helps)

3. Once you hear your mind start to chatter about this, that or worry simply tell your mind that it is not welcome in this place and ask it to stop. This will take practice but if you stick with it after a few weeks the chatter will lessen. After a few months you may notice you can go many minutes without hearing the mind chatter.

4. After you have calmed your mind and been still - start working your affirmations.


What you say? Yes, say your affirmations when you meditate. Be sure to have some quiet time for a few minutes and then start affirming. Saying your affirmations at least five times slowly will leave a huge impression on your calmed mind.

Be sure to affirm

I am open to hearing my intuition and all it will tell me.

as well as your other affirmations.

After you stick with this meditation method for awhile you will start to notice that you are more aware of how your body feels. You may also start hearing promptings to

-phone a certain person who can help you

-visit a certain website

-stop doing something that, until this moment, you really thought would help you reach what you are affirming

-go for a walk for no apparent reason

-visit a store you do not frequent

-pick up and read a certain magazine or newspaper

or countless other promptings to do certain things that, at the time, you really don't know why you should do them. You will also find yourself connecting with people that can help you or steer you in the direction of your affirmation.

And after that interesting and unexpected things will start to happen to help you get closer to achieving your affirmations - courtesy your intuition.

Why does this happen? An active meditation practice (with the intent of calming the mind) enables you to be more in tune with your intuition who is very willing to help you with your affirmations - if you quiet yourself and listen.

There is also another thing you can do in tandem with your meditating and meditating/affirming that really will help quicken your affirmations too, but that will have to wait until next time....
